The Network Team is proud to introduce our newest IT Consultant, Susan Herberich.
Susan joined TNT in early April. She originally contacted president Jeff Gaura with interest in a Sales Assistant opening. However, upon meeting and interviewing her, Jeff and Strategic Engagement Manager Mike Wilson realized she was better suited to much more.
"Susan is highly energetic, whip smart, engaging, and genuinely trustworthy. That became apparent within minutes of meeting with her," said Gaura.
Susan is no stranger to sales. She has worked in Real Estate in multiple states. She graduated from Miami of Ohio with a BA in Marketing. After graduating, she worked in both PR/Marketing, and as a retail analyst.
"Susan's unique insights gained from her variety of careers, along with her outgoing personality and desire to learn new things will serve her, and our clients well," added Gaura.
Susan is eager to finish training and become immersed in the technology world as an IT consultant. Of working at TNT, she said, "IT is fascinating because it is always evolving. I was excited to join TNT because they are helping businesses keep their information safe. As a consumer I know that it is always on my mind whenever I am making purchases in person or online if my information will remain safe. I am really looking forward to providing amazing services and safety to our small business community."
Susan and her husband have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, competing at the state and national level, hiking with her family and their dogs, and cheering her boys on in sports.
The Network Team just completed re-certification to maintain its status as a Premier Partner holding Cisco’s Advanced Collaboration Specialization.
Advanced Collaboration is one of the most difficult specializations for a partner to hold, as it requires that TNT have an active Systems Engineer, Field Engineer and Account Executive who have been trained and passed uniquely different certification exams. In addition, 4 individuals must hold roles and pass associated exams with regards to Cisco video, Virtualization, Webex and Contact Center technology.
TNT has been validated by Cisco as having the skills needed to design, install and maintain small phone systems, multi-site call centers, and everything in between. The Advanced Collaboration Specialization portfolio includes unified communications, conferencing, customer care, and collaboration endpoints.
The Network Team has started helping its customers with file and security access management using Sharepoint online services.
Joey Grissom, TNT’s head of cloud engineering, recently helped a customer with multiple retail and vendor locations migrate their file system to SharePoint online services.
The business justification was simple. The company had already invested both in Office 365 for productivity apps and Azure for their primary business accounting application. Since their email, office and accounting were already in Azure, why not put the file system to simplify management and streamline administration.
Of course, it only helped that migrating didn’t change their costs and helped them remove the requirement of relying on their file servers and backup tools to maintain 24 x 7 availability. Now that all the files are in SharePoint online, file security and backup integrity can be managed via an online portal. Backup appliances, special software installs and proprietary knowledge are no longer a part of their file system management. It is all in the cloud.
Come talk to TNT about moving your files to the cloud. Many versions of Office 365 already include the cost of this feature, and you may not be getting the full value of your investment in Office 365.
We are here to help.
